AI Programme
You shouldn’t worry about being replaced by AI, you should worry about being replaced by someone who knows how to use AI better than you
Billions of pounds is being spent on the development of AI technonology and tools. Only a tiny percentage of sector spending is is being directed towards training human beings on how to best use these tools. In our six module programme we will demystify the vocabularly and biggest trends, we will inspire regarding the AI opportunity and we will build competence and confidence in prompt engineering and AI delegation. We have put together a roster of world class inspirational speakers and sector experts. Individuals who are at the centre of this fast moving conversation.
Although each programme is bespoke and flexible. We do propose a recommended and proven sequence to the topics and behaviours we explore.
1. CONTEXT AND COMPETENCIES
2. AI TOOLS AS A FORCE MULTIPLIER
3. INNOVATION AND TRANSFORMATION
4. INCREASING CUSTOMER CENTRICITY
5. SUPER CHARGING THE DIB AGENDA
6. PRIORITISATION AND NEXT STEPS
We have designed this programme in partnership with Joe Fennell, Cambridge AI Ethicist, and we have engaged inspirational speaker and cognitive scientist Dr Henry Shevlin.
JOE FENNELL
Joe is part of the first ever postgrad cohort to take the University of Cambridge’s MPhil in ‘The Ethics of AI, Data and Algorithms’, and he was so active on the Cambridge AI Safety scene that whilst he was undergraduate, he was asked to give input on what should go into the course.
Joe’s research intesrests include the impact of Generative AI in education which he belives will be massively positive and participatory design of technologies. In his spare time he is an avid prompt engineer.
Joe also completed the Effective Altruism ‘AGI Safety Fundamentals’ fellowship in 2021, and in 2022 won a Trinity College Cambridge essay competition on AI, science and morality. He continues to be active in the Cambridge AI Safety and Ethics space.
DR HENRY SHEVLIN
Henry is a lecturer and course leader on AI at the University of Cambridge and an Associate Director at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI).
Such is Henry’s global reputation in AI, in 2022 one of the tech giants made him a significant personal grant to further explore the role of Large Language Models (LLMs).
